Empires of 3rd world countries
Crumble from the Achilles hero
The sun sets upon ashes
Civilians mourning the loss of their children
Merchants holding their ashes
Men in robes robbing and raping
Is this what we’ve come unto?
Starry nights over sorrowed lands
The tipping of the domino
What do you think happens
When the tower falls?
Sun
Set
On Ashes
Hope
Is the anchor
Of the soul
Raze the city
Raze it to the ground
O hope where have you disappeared to?
In our time of need you have stepped out the door
Why, o why o has this happened?
The boys and girls of this broken continents are crying
They have no sight, they have no sight
The pyramid looks down to these crumbled cities
Commanding the children to build
But they have all gone past the point now of hope
You don’t realize the torture you put yourself just to die
Another century will pass before you realize that there is a reason to every season
Just to think, this moment in your head will be a memory by tomorrow
Exterminate
Our own kind
One by one we all fall to ash
The shroud has fallen
Now it's time to see
Innocence dismantled to pieces
The shadows around me like my brother's keeper
His shadow's my reaper
The time has come to reap me
But i still have too much to live for
I will see you in the end
I
Resistor of temptation
Destroyer of worlds
I hope you know that there is no tomorrow, for me
I am the destroyer, of me

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
